TThe dissertation is devoted to the investigation of influence of thyroid hormones and thyroid antibodies in the development and progression of subclinical atherosclerosis in patients with RA with autoimmune thyroiditis, development schemes prevent the progression of atherosclerosis, substantiation of lipid lowering therapy.It was shown the presence of atherogenic dyslipidemia and subclinical atherosclerosis in RA patients with AIT. Expedience of application of atorvastatin and efficacy of hypolipidemic therapy in patients with RA and combined pathology of the thyroid gland. It was proposed the algorithm of diagnostics of atherosclerotic changes in patients with RA and AIT.
