This thesis deals with the research of fundamentals to estimate the value of a bank. The focus is laid on creating an effective system of evaluation and development of practical recommendations for facilitating estimation process. The economic essence and functions of bisiness entity estimation are set out. The necessity of scientifically lased principles for fundamental approach to determine the nature and character of estimating value is proven. The findings of the analysis of modern practice are viewed as these aimed to reveal a number of problems arising in this sphere. The thesis provides the ways to improve the estimation of bank value, based on an comparability and profit approach.
