Moskaliuk A. Moisey Ostrogorsky's critical theory of political parties

The thesis sets out individual biographical, historical, political, and scientific theoretical preconditions lying at the core of formation of Moisey Ostrogorsky's sociopolitical views and their effect on the formation of his critical theory of political parties. The meaning of M. Ostrogorsky's critical theory of political parties, based on the ideas of bureaucratization and oligarchization of internal party life and monopolization of electoral space and political representation by parties, was described. Particularities of M. Ostrogorsky's political ideal and his proposed ways of overcoming political alienation outside political parties were highlighted.
