Object - the process of functioning telecommunications networks in Ukraine; goal - improving the functioning telecommunication networks by unifying the method of calculation of network equipment, by clarifying the probabilistic and temporal structure of call flow on real networks and recording the results in the calculation formula; subject - methods for calculating the amount of equipment telecommunications networks; methods - methods of teletraffic theory, queuing theory, the theory of mathematical statistics, methods of mathematical modeling, numerical methods, and time series prediction; scientific innovation - improved standardized method for determining the amount of network equipment, which is invariant to the circuit diagram and the service discipline by introducing coefficients that reflect the real nature of the call flow, allowing you to improve the adequacy and expand the use of a uniform method by specifying the model used for call flow; the study of the distribution functions used in the analysis of the results of measurements carried out on real vehicles, namely: normal, uniform, exponential, Erlang, Laplace, log-normal, binomial, Poisson, Hyperexponential, Pareto found that none of these functions can not be correctly applied to describe the distribution function of the time of receipt of the call. This is proved by using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Pearson, Shapiro-Wilk; it is proved that the call flows for modern telecommunication network are extraordinary, with the presence of aftereffects, defined self-similar, reasonable calculation of the statistical characteristics of order 2; the first to demonstrate that the duration of service calls telecommunication networks allocated according to the log-normal distribution, in contrast to earlier applies the exponential distribution; the result - increased the efficiency of telecommunication networks by unifying method for the determination of network equipment; degree of implementation - in projects of "Ukrsvyazproekt, "Ukrtelecom"; sector od science - engineering science.
