Essay

The dissertation is concerned with investigations of the magnetic properties of compounds RbDy(WO4)2, KTb(WO4)2, KHo(WO4)2. It is shown that RbDy(WO4)2 and the singlet magnet KTb(WO4)2 demonstrate transitions to three-dimensional antiferromagnetic states at temperatures 0.8 K and 0.65 K, respectively. The magnetic structure of these compoumds is determinated. Experimentally no transition to a three-dimensional magnetically ordered state in the singlet magnet KHo(WO4)2 was found in the absence of a magnetic field.
