Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the increasing of performance and durability of oil presses. The main parameters causing limitation of operating time and lifetime of parts of the extracting cylinder of the press are determined. It is shown that one of the major factors that determine the efficiency of presses is the functioning of the output section of the press. The diverse nature and mechanism of wear of the extracting cylinder parts are found: corrosion-mechanical - on the input and abrasive together with corrosion-mechanical - on the output section of the press. Keywords: expeller press for oil extraction, output operating section, friction coefficient, geometric parameters, strain, deformation, computing experiments, thermal diffusion processing, vibration.
