The theoretical paradigm' key components of performance are identified in the thesis; the features of the banking business are distinguished; link between banking performance management and value-based management is identified; Ukrainian banking trends are carried out; conception of banking performance management is developed; scientific and methodological approaches to banking performance's assessment are systematized; the lost benefits' index for the banking performance, based on a stochastic frontier analysis, is formed; an approach for the banking performance management' analysis is proposed, key determinants of banking performance for the first group banks by the National bank of Ukraine's classification are identified; the approach for defining performance's strategy, based on matrix, is developed.
