Derkach O. The stability of the insurance market as a precondition for the financial security of the state

The essence of the conceptions "stability of the insurance market" and "financial security of the state" has been concerned in the dissertation. The place of the insurance market in the system of providing the financial security of the state through the implementation of the insurance functions (financial intermediation, diversification/reduction and risk transfer) has been investigated. The internal and external threats to the stability of the insurance market have been systematized. The mechanism of providing the stability of the insurance market using the state and non-state instruments has been formed. The scientific-methodological approach for evaluating the financial security of the state and defining the influence of stability of the insurance market on it has been developed. Problem aspects and practical recommendations for the further development of the state supervision and regulation in the insurance sphere have been examined.
