The Object - design of free-flying dynamically similar models (FFDSM) of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles (AV); the purpose - to increase reliability of the results of physical flight simulation of full-scale aircraft in difficult weather conditions by developing a methodology based on certain criteria and the extent of similarity of required parameters and characteristics of their free-flying dynamically similar models; methods: the methods of similarity theory, aerodynamics, flight testing, thermodynamics, climatology, mathematical model of forest fires, as well as the methods for calculating the strength of the design and technology of the experimental aircraft to conduct research; the result - increasing the reliability of the results of physical modeling of natural flight of aircraft in difficult weather conditions; scientific novelty: 1. Further developed the theory of determining the conditions for flight research FFDSM for the solution of physical simulation of flight dynamics of full-scale aircraft in the areas of complicated weather conditions by taking into account the influence of extreme temperatures of the atmosphere and changes in its composition in these areas on the criteria and the extent of similarity. 2. First developed methodological basis for the definition of required parameters and characteristics of FFDSM to study the dynamics of flight of full-scale aircraft in difficult weather conditions; industry - aviation and rocket science
