The thesis is devoted to the analysis of institutional control in the law-enforcement bodies of Ukraine, which is realized through the daily internal organizational activity of particular vertically subordinated structural elements of corresponding system of state bodies, and refers to the general (depending on content, character and effect amount) internal (depending on aim and place of appliance) functions of state administration. The definition is given to its notion, aim and tasks, methods, forms and general principles as a prognostic control. The characteristic is given to its subject, object and stages.
