Stechyshyn О. A ground and efficiency of surgical treatment of chronic middle otitis using biocomposite "Syntebone"

Dissertation is devoted to the question of increase of efficiency of surgical treatment of patients with a chronic purulent middle otitis by application of biocomposite "Syntebone" and autobone for оbliteration of postoperative bone cavity. In experimental research by morphological methods were studied processes of regeneration of bone tissue and alteration to the transplant during implantation of tree standards of biocomposite "Syntebone" in bone defects, modelled on the iliac bones of rabbits. It was found that tree variants of biocomposite have absolute biocompatibility and undergo resorptіon, being subststuted by a valuable bone tissue, but at addition autobone this process takes place quickly. The results of surgical treatment of 80 patients with chronic purulent middle otitis were analysed. A sanifying operation and obliteration of postoperative cavity of temporal bone with the use of a biocomposite "Syntebone" was conducted. The offered method of mastoid obliteration allowed to attain positive results in 91,2 % of patients.
