Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of seasonal allergic rhinitis, one of the most common forms of allergic diseases. The author evaluated aeropalinologic research in the Odessa region, held in 2010. Found that in Odessa observed two waves of flowering plants - spring and summer- autumn. The first is represented by pollen of trees, mostly - birch and poplar, the second - weed pollen, mainly ragweed and mugwort. The largest amount of pollen in the air of Odessa produces ragweed, followed by poplar and birch. Periods of year most unfavourable for people sensitive to pollen, which coincides with the period of greatest appeal pollinosis patients for medical care were studied. The study of etiological factors showed that the most common cause of pollinosis in the studied area is pollen from the family Compositae and especially wormwood, ragweed and cyclamen, a little less to the pollen of grasses from the family of prairie grasses (hryastytsya team and timothy). In half of patients develop pollinosis against burdened allergological heredity. Pollinosis frequently observed in women, the most manifest signs of pollinosis at a young age, with age the severity of pollinosis reduced. The clinical picture of pollinosis in the Odessa region characterized with many symptoms: the most characteristic manifestations of pollinosis were rhinosinusitis and conjuncti-vitis, as well as their combination, revealed a high percentage of pollen bronchial lesions and skin. First treatment for pollinosis applied regional allergens as a tablet for sublingual use. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of SIT application of regional and standard allergens in 55 patients. Clinical and allergological research conducted at 1 and 2 years of treatment, installed high efficiency SlIT-use as a therapeutic allergen pollen grasses collected in the region as the patients, significantly increases the effectiveness of treatment compared with standard allergens. The best results were obtained in patients treated regional allergens, they improved with the terms of acceptance SlIT-results after two years of treatment is better than one year. High efficiency and good tolerance of treatment method SlIT possible to recommend them for patients with pollinosis. Better use of allergens, made with the pollen of plants that grow in the same region where the patient lives. This improves the quality of treatment and thus clinical outcomes.
