Object - processes of growth and formation of biological productivity of modal pine stands of artificial origin of urban forests of Kyiv city; aim - methodologically work out and develop a system of reference materials for inventory of modal pine stands of artificial origin of urban forests of Kyiv city; methods - forest mensurational, silvicultural, mathematical and statistical; novelty - for the first time: developed a complex of mathematical models of dynamics of basic forest mensuration indices, with development of appropriate yield tables; developed tables for assessing biological productivity, including estimates of net primary production (NPP); developed complex of tables for assessment of carbon-sequestrative and oxygen-productive functions; computed share of sequestration of carbon of anthropogenic origin by the studied forest stands; improved: methodological approaches to assessment of ecological functions of ecosystems of urban forests; information support for estimation of parametric structure of biological productivity of urban forests of Kyiv city; further developed: theory and practice of development of system of information and reference materials for assessment of components of biological productivity of forest stands in population and industrial centers; results - developed system of reference and information materials for inventory of modal pine stands of artificial origin of urban forests of Kyiv city; fulfilled quantitative assessment of biological productivity, carbon-sequestrative and oxygen-productive functions of modal pine stands of artificial origin of urban forests of Kyiv city; scope of application - forestry.
