A research object is the normal modes of the electrical power systems (ЕPS) in the balancing market; the aim of work is increase of efficiency during a production and transporting of electric power in the electrical power system by the introduction of new and perfection of existent methods and algorithms of optimal distribution of load between the sources of electric power by the modern economic conditions; used methods of the linear and nonlinear programming, methods of theory of similarity and design; theoretical results - a new determination of a timely scientific task of rise of effectiveness of the electric power production and transmission by the ЕPS was received. It consist of selection the optimal structure of units and allow to correct the electric power tariffs for power plants and consumers at the modern conditions of the balance market and double-faced contract power supply functioning. The mathematical models of optimal regimes of the ЕPS by the differentiated criterions of an optimality in the balancing market is first offered. It allows to improve the method of optimal distribution of load between the sources of electric power by the means of sensitivity analysis; the method of complex optimization of the normal modes of the electroenergy system which based on principle of the least action is developed. Particularity of functioning of the balancing market are accounted in it mathematical model; the mathematical model is improved by the method of radial equivalent and conditions of the optimal modes of electric power sources functioning in the ЕPS are got. Practical results - the algorithms and program modulus are developed: optimization of the normal modes of the electroenergy system by the technical and economic criterions of an optimality; the evaluation of sensitivity of optimal decisions to the parameters of the ЕPS mode in the modern conditions of exploitation; correction of the price applications of the power plants taking into account the double-sided contracts upon the electric power supply; determination of the debugging parameters of local management systems by distribute sources of electric power in the ЕPS. The degree of implementation - the results have been implemented in 'Pivdenno-Zahidna' power systems and in the scientific process of Vinnitsa Techical University. Scope of - power engineering.
