Essay

The application of laser device and optopneumatic cell combination as basic control element of pneumatic and hydraulic drive, in which thermal effects and effect of gas hasp are used, is offered. The mathematical models of various levels of power exchange completeness in optopneumatic cell, considering a thermal radiation, heat conductivity and convection are developed. Influence of optopneumatic cell geometrical parameters on the iterance of heat exchange process is investigated. The use ot the optical break-down to create the series of workable optopneumatic converters is proposed. They are protected by patents of Ukraine and adapted to the conditions of the locomotives. The locomotive auxilliary drives with the improved technical performances are designed. It is shown that the use of the proposed optopneumatic amplifiers, gages of adjustable sizes, opt hydraulic amplifiers with the improved hydraulic characteristics allows to improve technical and operational characteristics of the diesel locomotive.
