Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the complex historical and demographic studies of the Bulgarians as part of the population of 'The For-Danube colonists' of Southern Bessarabia in the first half of the 19th century. Gender and age structure of this population and its natural migration, the seasonal birth rate, marriage rate and death rate, the institute of family, the influence of traditional stereotypes on demographic behavior and on population structure and other social processes were investigated on the basis of a complex analysis of data taken from popular and historical-statistic resources.
