Khomenko A. Two-stage selective intraarterial chemotherapy in complex treatment of the widespread breast cancer

Object of research - patients with locally disseminated breast cancer. A research objective: to improve the efficiency of complex treatment of patients with locally disseminated breast cancer by introducing dual-selective intra-arterial chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy. Research methods - clinical, instrumental, laboratory, histological, statistical processing of results. Novelty: the first time shown a pronounced cytotoxic effect and less toxicity dual-selective intra-arterial chemotherapy on the metabolism of immune cells. When using dual-selective intra-arterial chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy risk of disease progression in patients of the experimental group was significantly reduced. Results: With the development of treatment pathomorphosis 2-4 degree 5-year-old survival in the group with intraarterial chemotherapy, compared with controls, increased by 0,90-5,60%, 10-year - on 5,60-11,6% (p <0.01).
