Nagaychuk V. Early surgical treatment of patients with superficial dermal burns of maxillofacial area

The dissertation is devoted to the question of early surgical necrectomy in the maxillofacial area in case of dermal superficial burns and subsequent treatment of postoperative wounds in a wet environment under silicone coating using biogalvanization. The efficiency of healing of dermal superficial burn wounds after early surgical necrectomy was studied in the experiment on 84 rats using different ways of local treatment including liophilized xenograft and silicone coating. It is found that treatment of the postoperative wounds in a wet environment under silicone coating is the most effective. The basis of the clinical studiesis monitoring of 125 patients with superficial dermal burns in maxillofacial area. Introduction of the method of early surgical necrectomy followed by treatment of postoperative wounds of maxillofacial area in wet environment under the silicone coating using biogalvanization allowed to shorten the treatment of burn wound necrosis in 8.4 times, the average healing time in 3.2 times, and to prevent the formation of deforming scar complications with significantly better aesthetic results of treatment.
