Essay

The object of study is dynamic and resource characteristics of freight cars with a complex modernized bogies. The purpose of this thesis is to improve the dynamic and resource characteristics of freight cars with a complex modernized bogies. As a result of the thesis done: improved mathematical model for freight wagons with complex modernized bogies, which allows a wide range of variable geometry and the physical and mechanical parameters of elements of the bogie, add new elements to the design, consider the radial and axial stiffness of the wheels, and the bending stiffness of the rim; drawing the results of theoretical studies, a rational geometrical parameters of elastic wheels drive, using which it is possible to improve the operational performance of freight cars with a complex modernized bogies, created a computer model of the side frame of bogie, theoretical research on the definition of a rational scheme for measuring the vertical force that produces more reliable results during the running of dynamic testing of freight cars with complex modernized bogies. The use on the Ukrainian railways results obtained in the thesis contributes to the solution for problems encountered in the production, testing, operation and maintenance of complex modernized bogies. The use of the proposed changes to the technology of installation has improved the quality of complex modernized bogies, increase their reliability. Using the proposed ways to increase resource indicators of individual elements of modernization, in particular, changes in the regulatory and technical documentation regarding the criteria rejection elastic blocks of the side bearings, processing requirements bolster pocket, etc., can significantly reduce the cost of maintaining these cars. The use of the proposed new elements of modernization will improve the dynamic performance and endurance cars with new bogies. The results of the thesis research to improve some elements of modernization introduced in the production elements of a complex modernization of freight cars enterprise "Amsted-Rail", during modernization on car-repair enterprises of Ukraine and in the operation of cars with bogies. Implementation of results supported by appropriate legislation.
