Essay

The thesis is devoted to the topical problem of increasing the DBMS performance by automating their configuration settings. The information technology was developed based on the models of the DBMS' configuration parameters and the transactional behavior of corporate information system's (CIS) database user, as well as on the methods of CIS classification and DBMS benchmark. Software based on this technology has enhanced DBMS performance and reduced the time of their tuning, which was confirmed by laboratory and production testing with positive technical and economic effect.
