Essay

The purpose of the thesis is the investigation of physical processes, parameters and peculiarities of multicomponent gas-metal plasma in the reflex-discharge. Objects of the investigation are the dense multicomponent gas-metal plasma in the pulsed reflex discharge. The experimental research dense multicomponent gas-metal plasmas was carried out by means of 9 different diagnostic techniques which basically were contactless. In the thesis for the first time, for measuring the velocity and the frequency of rotation of the plasma layers having different densities in the gas-metal reflex-discharge plasma medium the author proposed and realized the two-frequency microwave fluctuation reflectometry at frequencies f = 37,13 and 72,88 GHz. Experimental results evidence that the sputtering method, used for working material introduction, is an effective mechanism, providing the formation of the plasma with a density of ~ 1014 сm-3. The received results can be used for practical creation dense gas-metal plasmas.
