The essence of production infrastructure of an industrial enterprise is revealed. Pro-duction infrastructure is defined as an element of manufacturing. It also fulfills the function of servicing the main production of an industrial enterprise. Production infrastructure of an industrial enterprise is analyzed on the basis of the functional approach. The sequence of taking decisions as to the reorganization of production infrastructure of an industrial enterprise is offered. The way of choosing a method of introducing the reorganization is given. The program of realization of changes is described. The sequence of the analysis of the quality of performing partial functions of serving is elaborated. The necessity of applying the methodological tools of outsourcing based on the transaction cost theory is defined to be the objective characteristic of reorganization of production infrastructure.
