Luchyk O. The artistic features of Jura Zoyfer's drama in the context of Austrian Literature in the interwar period

The thesis presents a complex study of Yura Zojfer's dramatic works in the context of Austrian folk drama. Artistic features of his dramatic writings are found out, problematics and poetics of the plays are analyzed, and, also, the main features of language style peculiarities of the playwriter's art system are outlined. It is emphasized that in all his plays the author turned to social issues, condemned social inequalities and political apathy, and tried to warn compatriots about the threat of fascism. The originality of the creative implementation of these ideas (contrast allegory, tragic farce of the play) makes these order of the day compositions clear example of artistic tendencies of Austrian anti-fascist drama.
