Thesis is devoted to substantiation of consumable and design parameters of the deep-water airlifts with the stepped lift pipe that ensure minimization of plant energy in-tensity, taking into account force interaction of solid particles with completion assembly. The mixture volumetric gas content dependences in length changes of completion assembly and fluid gaps (obstructions) between them are established. A new mathematical tool for calculating the parameters of three-component slug flow is developed; this tool is not included in any of the currently known class of analytic models of heterogeneous mix-tures and provides a cyclically repeated sequential calculation of two-component flows: "solid-gas", "solid-liquid". A new numerical-analytical method for calculating the pa-rameters of multicomponent flow is worked out that differs from the known methods as it considers particle transportation slow-down in completion assembly, taking into account morphology changes of the slug flow structure. The regularities of solid particle dynamics influence on the consumable, design and energy parameters of the deep-water hydraulic airlift by the slug flow structure are established. The deep-water hydraulic airlift control methods and the technical solutions for their implementation are worked out, permitting increase of mineral transportation effi-ciency. The rational design of mixer is developed, providing higher transporting capacity of multicomponent flow in the lift pipe.
