Thesis research is devoted to the question of cost optimization methods improvement. Production costs of metallurgical plant are studied as well as their economic meaning and distribution. Structure and peculiarities of functioning the current system of organizing costs at metallurgical plant are analyzed. Process of distributing costs at metallurgical plant is estimated. Meaning of metallurgical industry in shaping export potential of the country is analyzed. Structure of costs as to divisions of metallurgical plant and product groups are investigated. Costs structure of input provision at metallurgical plant is analyzed. Methodological approaches to organizing optimal cost system at metallurgical plant are estimated. Efficient costs organizing and controlling system at metallurgical plant is improved. Adopted recommendations as to disclosing main cost reduction reserves are introduced.
