Essay

The thesis is devoted to complex research problems in absentia proceedings in criminal proceedings of Ukraine. The state of scientific research on this problem, studied the history of the emergence, formation and development of the correspondence of the criminal trial and the verdict rendered in absentia. We study the European experience of trial in absentia in criminal proceedings. We give a comparative analysis of criminal procedural legislation of European countries.
