This dissertation is devoted to analysis of the theoretical and practical aspects of insurance protection business in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. The thesis summarizes theoretical approaches determine the nature and characteristics of insurance to protect agricultural enterprises. A model for evaluating the effectiveness of risk insurance business in the agricultural sector in a comprehensive approach taking into account expert rates of all stages of the interaction between insurance companies and agricultural entrepreneur. The features of the insurance protection of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine. The necessity of index insurance business risks of the agricultural sector. Based on foreign experience, suggestions for improving insurance coverage of the agricultural sector through the creation of mutual insurance and implementation multirisk insurance.
