Essay

The object of the research is a process of aviation companies' economic activity management. The objective of dissertation research is a development and substantiation of theoretical and methodological propositions and practical advises as for improvement of airports' economic potential management. Methods of research: dialectical, historic and evolutionary, theoretical generalization, system and structure analyses, modeling, comparison method etc. Novelty of the results consists in development of new theoretical and methodological propositions as for airports' economic potential management. Essence and structure of economic potential of airports is defined, theoretical basis of its is analyzed in thesis. Balanced scorecard of economic potential is developed and researches of economic activity of certain world airports on its basis are made. Estimation of power and character of macro-, micro- and internal factors' impact of airport environment is done, along with analysis of stakeholders influence on economic potential of airport. Functional-objective mechanism of strategic management of economic potential of airports from the position of interested parties theory is developed and grounded; in particular methodology of balancing stakeholders' requests for airport, multiplicative-index model of economic potential estimation and balanced scorecard-assisted theoretical-methodological approach to organization of planning and controlling process of economic potential of airport are developed. Main scientific results were implemented into practical activity of Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine, International Airport "Kyiv" (Zhuliany) and educational process of National Aviation University.
