Kravchuk A. Organizational and economic aspects of project investment in freight cars renewal

The object of research is the investment activity in the railway transport of Ukraine. The aim of the research is a theoretical and practical substantiation of organizational and economic support of the project investment in the freight cars renewal in the contemporary economy. The research methods: systematic, economic and mathematical modeling, analysis and synthesis of the results, comparisons, expert assessments, induction and deduction, financial, economic and statistical analysis, etc. Scientific novelty of the research is to develop theoretical and methodological basis of investment efficiency in the freight cars renewal. Methodical approaches of calculating the required number of freight cars renewal using the methods of economic-mathematical forecasting has been done. The necessity of developing new investment methods with the use of project finance has been proved. Methodical approaches to the creation of multimodal operating company taking into account features of project financing and implementation of international multimodal transport has been offered. The economic-mathematical model defining cross-cutting tariff rates for the transportation of international intermodal traffic has been done. The organizational and economic aspects of project financing mechanism in freight cars renewal have been proposed.
