Essay

Object is relationship between nutritive regime of soil, micronutrients and microelement nutrition of spring barley grown. Purpose is to determine efficiency of foliar top dressing by microfertilizers on chernozem podzolic heavy loam of Right-Bank Forest-steppe of Ukraine. Methods - field and laboratory analytical, methods of mathematics and statistics, computational comparative method. Theoretical results - theoretical approaches to the solution of research and practice issue of optimization nutrition of spring barley by micronutrients on the chernozem podzolic of Right-Bank Forest-steppe of Ukraine by means of foliar top dressing of chelated microfertilizers in the optimum terms considering the results of soil and plant diagnosis along with weather conditions of vegetative period are developed. Practical results - composition, rates and terms of foliar top dressing of spring barley by microelements are established on the basis of the results of soil and plant diagnosis. It is offered to use double foliar top dressing by zinc chelate together with copper chelate in the drought conditions and double foliar top dressing by zinc chelate together with manganese chelate in the conditions of sufficient moisture supply. Rate of foliar top dressing of micronutrients is the following: zinc - 130 g/ha, manganese and copper - 80 g/ha. It allows obtaining high yields of first-rate grain, enriched with microelements, and improves its feeding and seed value. Novelty - efficiency of applying new types of microfertilizers in the fertilizer system of spring barley on chernozem podzolic heavy loam of the Right-Bank Forest-steppe of Ukraine is determined for the first time. Depending on moisture supply in the period of vegetation it provides foliar top dressing by zinc chelate together with copper chelate or manganese chelate in the critical stages of growth and development of plants - at the beginning of tillering and booting. Further development are given to the issues of influence of foliar top dressing by microfertilizers and their terms on the growth dynamics of vegetative matters, reduction of efficiency elements and macro- and microelement uptake by plants, qualitative and quantitative indicators of their yield removal are specified. Scale of providing spring barley with zinc, copper and manganese on the chernozem podzolic is improved. Influence of the rates of supplying plants with microelements on their drought hardness and vitality of pollen grains, yield formation of spring barley and its quality are established. Degree of application - results of the dissertation researches are introduced in 2011 on agricultural lands of 85 hectares in the public enterprise "Rodnikovka", Uman district and on agricultural lands of 104 hectares in the limited liability company "Promin", Talne disrtict of Cherkasy region. The field is - agriculture.
