Essay

The dissertation is devoted to experimental investigation of the efficiency of plasma-liquid systems usage for carbon nanomaterial generation from the liquid-phase materials and research of nonequilibrium plasma discharge in a transverse gas flow. The secondary plasma discharge, which is maintained by transverse arch in the ethanol and argon mixture, was studied for the first time. It was shown that different distributions of absolute values of excitation temperatures took place, when using "liquid" and "solid" cathode of secondary discharge. We also observed the generation of nanoparticles of different type in plasma system with transverse arch and in plasma system with secondary discharge which is maintained by transverse arch. For the plasma of secondary discharge with "solid" cathode in hydrocarbons and argon mixture it was found that the concentration of carbon atoms significantly exceeds the concentration of carbon dimers. Atomic carbon was found to be the main plasma forming component. Its concentration depends on surface processes. We proposed qualitative explanation of such dependence.
