Pakulova-Trotska J. Features of nutrition status in children with cerebral palsy

The thesis is devoted to the problem of the quality of nutrition of young children with cerebral palsy. The quality of nutrition and nutritional status of 90 infants with cerebral palsy, parameters of their physical development, their nutrition, biochemical parameters and the level of trace elements and vitamins in blood serum have been estimated. The results of observations have shown the need for correction of deficient and unbalanced diet of young children with cerebral palsy. The complex of prevention measures was proposed, which included individual correction of nutrition, depending on the needs and age of children, and purpose dry infant formula and vitamin and mineral complex. This complex of prevention measures was used in 45 infants with cerebral palsy who have made major group. Comparisons were carried out on 45 infants with cerebral palsy who received standard treatment, and have made a comparison group.
