The thesis is devoted to solving scientific and methodological problems to improve the effectiveness of tourism enterprises in the region through the formation of a model of consumer behavior. This thesis is focused on revealing the characterization of consumer behavior as system of integrity elements that have socio-economic nature; defined the system of indices for its appreciation and significance of factors on the development of consumer behavior from the point of view of levels of its organization and directions of its possible regulation; analyzed and estimated the economic status and effectiveness of marketing activities of tourist enterprises
