Nefyodov D. Resistance Movement in the Southern Ukraine in the years of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1944): historiography of the problem

Object: whole complex of main group of historiography sources in history of Resistance movement in Southern Ukraine during The Great Patriotic War (1941-1944); aim: find out condition, fullness and credibility of learning history of Resistance movement in Southern Ukraine (1941-1944) on the ground of complex historiography analysis of Soviet, foreign, diaspora and modern domestic authors; methods: analysis, synthesis, idealization, abstraction, analogy, general conclusion, comparative-historical, historic-genetic, problem-chronological, retrospective, logic analysis method; results: impact of social and political conditions and ideological factors on formation and development of historiography of Resistance movement in Southern Ukraine during The Great Patriotic War (1941-1944) is traced back, principal stages of historic thought development are found concerning the mentioned problem; peculiarities of Soviet, foreign, diaspora and modern Ukrainian historiography are found, there were found insufficiently studied or falsified problem aspects, which need further scientific research; novelty: for the first time achievements of Soviet, foreign, diaspora and modern historiography of Resistance movement in Southern Ukraine during The Great Patriotic War (1941-1944) are systematized and generalized, there was reconsidered a chain of conclusions and conceptual approaches, which had been dominant in Soviet, foreign, and diaspora historiography, important meaning of recently published works were revealed, which have not been subject to historiography analysis, periodization of accumulation of knowledge in scientific literature regarding history of Resistance movement in Southern Ukraine was defined more precisely; sphere: historiography, source studies and special historical sciences.
