The research object is processes of innovation management of industrial enterprises in modern economy. The research subject is theoretical, methodological and practical aspect of innovation management of industrial enterprises on the basis of project management. Development of theoretical concepts, methodological and practical recommendations for innovation management of industrial enterprises on the basis of project management is the research aim. The research methods are: comparing, systematization, summarizing, statistical analysis, peer reviewing, deduction, induction, systematic approach, economic and mathematical modeling, formalization, graphical. The method of evaluating the readiness of industrial enterprises to the management of innovation projects has been developed for the first time. The method takes into account the available resources of an enterprise in order to realize innovative activity. It also takes into account the total level of project maturity and the admissibility of possible risks. The mechanism of innovation management of industrial enterprises formed on the basis of the project approach is approved. The method of estimation of innovative potential and methodical guidelines for the selection and implementation of innovative projects in the mechanism of innovation management of industrial enterprises are upgraded. The method of determining the level of the project innovativeness, methodological basis of forecasting of dynamics of innovative product sales and methodological basis of forecasting the moment when it is appropriate to enter into the market with innovative-successor are developed. The research results have been embedded in industrial enterprises and academic process. The sphere of usage of author's proposals is industrial enterprises.
