Essay

With the developed model of experimental periodontitis in rats found morphological changes such as: the epithelial lamina mucosa gingiva with increased сeratinization and disceratozis phenomena, in the granular layer in the lamina propria revealed edema, spasm of arterioles, in periodontal observed swelling of ground substance, in the alveolar bone occurred activation of osteoclasts with local destruction of bone tissue. The complex of preventive measures using synbiotic medications "Baktulin" in the treatment of patients with generalized periodontitis contributed to a significant reduction of exacerbations, reduce indices PMA and PI.
