Object of research - diffuse synchronous bilateral breast cancer. A research objective: to improve the treatment of patients with diffuse synchronous bilateral breast cancer by developing and implementing comprehensive treatment program with the inclusion of selective intra-arterial chemotherapy. Research methods - clinical, instrumental, laboratory, histological, statistical processing of results. Novelty: the first time a proved that the use of comprehensive treatment program with the inclusion of selective intra-arterial chemotherapy significantly increases the possibility of surgical intervention in the dramatic amount to reduce the incidence of complications from systemic chemotherapy and increases the cumulative survival of patients with diffuse synchronous bilateral breast cancer. Results: the use of selective intraarterial chemotherapy in the multimodality treatment program three-year survival increases to 61,0±9,0%, and five years - up to 54,2±10,2%; in the first, initial, phase of a comprehensive treatment reduces (p = 0,02) risk of further disease progression compared with the inclusion of systemic chemotherapy, ЕR = 0,4 (95% WI 0,2-0,8). Introduced in clinical practice communal health care setting "Donetsk Regional Antitumor Center"; urban inter-Oncology Center of Mariupol, KLPU "City Oncology Center Gorlovka."
