Essay

Thesis is devoted to elaboration of developed method of calculating road surfaces made of discrete and low-connected materials considering mechanism of contact interaction of layers' elements. Mathematical model of demeanor of road surfacing constructions made of discrete materials under load is elaborated while realizing this research. This mathematical model considers the character of non-connected material and mechanism of contact interaction between layer's elements. Developed answer of stress and strain state of road surfaces of transitional type is received; numerous values of non-connected material's distributive ability parameters are determined. Laboratory tests of road surfaces' constructions made of discrete materials are realized; origin of deformation of discrete materials' constructions, that don't have characters of elastic materials and don't work for bending, is confirmed. Some practical recommendations and methods to value solidity of newly designed and existing constructions of transitional type road surfaces are elaborated.
