Vyzhenko Y. The improvement of long-term fixation methods of implant-supported dentures.

The thesis is devoted to the improvement of quality and efficiency of the treatment of the patients with dentition defects due to the improvement of the long-term fixation methods of implant-supported dentures. The comparative characteristics of the cement properties were studied. The cement impact on the oral cavity microflora was determined. A reliable difference of the cement layer thickness between the internal surface of the crown unit-cast and the abutment internal surface depending on the crown making method was ascertained. The efficiency of the cements fixing action in the nearest and remote observation term was defined on the basis of clinical research. The method of atraumatic removal of fixed dentures from the intraosteal implants via implication of the modified crownhook and a specific construction of the unit-cast crown was substantiated. The results of the cements research will enable the dentists to choose the type of fixation cement taking into consideration each particular clinical case.
