Essay

The thesis is devoted to develop methodological foundations of forest mensuration and landscape recreational evaluations of forests of green zones around settlements for multiple use of forest resources and sustainable management in them. According to the result of research landscape and recreational features of evaluation of forests of green zones of settlements and measures of sustainable forestry in them were designed. Energy productivity and such functions as carbon and oxygen production of forests of green zone of Lviv were evaluated. System of landscape and recreational features that contains: type of forest landscape, stage of recreational degression, vitality and recreational value of forests was elaborated.
