The aim of the research is to develop a theoretical basis, methodological and practical recommendations for state regulation of tourist industry and trends of its improvement with the potential of the development of this sphere. The most important scientific results of the thesis are: improving the mechanism of state regulation of the tourism sector through the implementation of elements of the public-private partnership, developing the model of the functioning of local tourist offices abroad and procedural provisions for their establishment and operation.
