Kudrynechkіy S. Genre and semantic space of kolomyika in Ukrainian music

The thesis is dedicated to the kolomyika phenomenon in Ukrainian national music. Among the range of typed genre signs that for centuries defined the national specificity of musical expression Ukrainian composers, special place is occupied kolomyjka. Kolomyika is the archetypical phenomenon of national musical culture. It has been summarized existing in the ethnographical musical science literature views and conceptions of kolomyika phenomenon. It has been outlined genre and semantic space of kolomyika in national author's or professional music. It has been determined the peculiarity of author's embodiments of folklore style. It has been analyzed the logic of interaction and adaptation of kolomyika's certain components in composition.
