Essay

The object of the research is the formation of an effective land and resource potential of agricultural enterprises. The aim of the research is to study the theoretical and methodological foundations and development of scientifically based practical recommendations as for the formation and use of land and resource potential of agricultural enterprises. Methods of the research: statistical and economic, graphic, grouping, method of multiple correlation and regression analysis, settlement and constructive. Theoretic and practical results: set of organizational and economic opportunities and environmental conditions on the development and use of land (owned and leased) by certain companies to achieve such a level of agricultural production that ensures maximum profits in specific economic conditions; forming of effective land and resource potential of agricultural enterprises and increasing of its profitability. The novelty of the research: interpretation of such essence as effective "land and resource potential of agricultural enterprise" as a set of organizational and economic possibilities and natural conditions as for formation and use of land potential. Level of implementation: results of the research are taken to use by the Department of Agricultural Development of Zhitomir Regional State Administration, Agricultural Development of Novograd Volyn Regional State Administration, the private farm "Torch" in Novograd Volyn area of Zhitomir region, the private leased agricultural enterprise "Kolos" in Novograd Volyn area of Zhitomir region.
