Essay

The object of the study is gradient solid solution of the surface layer of titanium alloys by the thermal diffusion saturation in controlled atmosphere and its impact influence on the physical and mechanical properties of the metal. The purpose is to develop the fundamentals of increasing of fatigue strength and durability of titanium alloys with regulated gradient solid solution (RGSS) hardening of the surface layer. The relation between the phase composition and ашту structure of the thin titanium alloy after surface RGSS hardening and micromechanisms of fracture and strength under different loading conditions.
