The paper is a complex study of administrative law principles of state control over higher educational establishments in Ukraine. The essence and peculiarities of higher educational establishments as an object of state control are specified. The notion of state control over higher educational establishments in Ukraine is given. The structure of state control over higher educational establishments is cleared and its types are defined. The subject of state control over higher educational establishments in Ukraine is determined, the system of its parties is specified. Forms and methods of state control over higher educational establishments in Ukraine are considered.
