Essay

Established a significant difference for traction freight trains, optimal criteria for minimum consumption and energy costs with variable rates and wholesale electricity market (WEM), and the need for secure card packs of trains that can be used on elec-trified at different periods of time. Received development cost effectiveness criteria transfer railway traction substa-tions on the terms of payment on replacement rates, which take into account the active and reactive component power consumption and their different unit cost. Criteria make it possible to determine the effectiveness of replacement electricity tariffs for fixed train schedules, and take into account stochastic property rates in the WEM. Found that the rational value indicators for managing the flow of trains in conditions of variable elec-tricity rates and WEM regime change control individual trains immaterial impact on the running time of trains on race, while ensuring regulatory permissible interval between trains.
