Thesis is devoted to the issues of legal regulation of police officers' contract service. Legal nature of a contract as a kind of labor agreement is elucidated. Author's own meaning of the notion "Contract Service within Police Agencies" is presented. Service within police agencies as a kind of labor activity is characterized. Peculiarities of a contract in regulation of police officers' labor relations are disclosed. Modern state of hiring to police agencies is researched. Content of a contract about police service is considered. Kinds of changes of contract's conditions about police service are studied. Bases of police service cessation are considered. Some offers on improving national legislation are presented. Alterations and amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, Code of Laws about Labor, Law of Ukraine "About Police", Regulations on police service and the bill of Labor Code of Ukraine are offered. These alterations and amendments concern the problems of using the contract, origin, change and cessation of police officers' labor legal relations.
