Essay

Object of investigation: morphological, cultural and biochemical properties of microbes; factors of persistency and pathogenicity; antibiotic susceptibility; selective properties of the medium and effect enhancer for Streptococcus spp. The aim: There have been identified by criterions of biological properties and antibiotic susceptibility the heterogeneity of the species Streptococcus bacteria, which vegetaning in ecological niches upper airways of patients suffering from the alcohol withdrawal delirium syndrome. Methods of investigations: microbiological, immunological, biophysical, biotechnological and statistical. Equipment: microscope, thermostat, autoclave, drying cabinet, anaerostat, spectrophotometer, mercury quartz and mercury lamp, electronic device Densi-La-Meter (PLIVA-Lachema a.s., Czech Republic). There have been established the optimal conditions of cultivating S. рyogenes to increase and inhibite the production of hyaluronidase. For the first time grains hydrolizate has been used as a selective nutrient medium component and for the first time quaternary ammonium compound stimulating a quadruple biomass growth. Branch of usge: medicine (psychitry, pulmonology, therapy, microbiology), biotechnology, pharmacology.).
