Dissertation is devoted to the research of the legal nature of administrative-legal relations concerning the process of activity of the customs authorities of Ukraine. The correlation between the competence and the function of customs authorities of Ukraine, as well as the legal relations with their participation are defined. Customs legal relations are elucidated, their classification under the different criteria is given. It is indicated that customs administrative relations are among the most widespread kinds of customs relations, their general characteristics is provided.
