Fedunyak I. Formation of demand and supply in potato market

The Dissertation is devoted to the research of demand and supply in potato market, under interaction of market and state regulatory mechanisms. Practicability of state interference with market economy is substantiated, and methodological approaches to market relations development in national economy are defined, based on economic resources analysis. Instruments of influence on agrarian market balance are investigated. Analysis of the Global and Ukrainian potato market sectors is made, and its condition is valued at micro level. Competitiveness of Ukrainian potato is calculated and substantiated, based on comparative analysis with some EU countries. Prognostication of the branch development is made in general and by economic forms. Effective channels for product realization are defined for different purposes, based on balance research. Necessity of infrastructure development in the sector is substantiated. Methodological approaches for determination of potato price at export and import operation for evaluation of profits of importers and exporters are proposed. Indicators of economic profits and losses are calculated, based on "Welfare economics" method. It is determined that negative trend of foreign trade balance with potato sailing by raising prices will be observed in future prospects.
